Building a Violin | Part Seven
I really enjoy woodworking, particularly with hand tools and so I’ve decided to take on the most difficult of woodworking projects…building a violin. I’m recording my progress on video so people have a chance to see me fumble around the workshop.
In part seven I’m cutting out the top and back plates and getting them to the final outline. This is a slow and challenging process, the corners are particularly tricky. The goal is to make them look good but also to establish a cohesive shape for entire violin and have them match each other.
