Building a Violin | Part Twelve
I really enjoy woodworking, particularly with hand tools and so I’ve decided to take on the most difficult of woodworking projects…building a violin. I’m recording my progress on video so people have a chance to see me fumble around the workshop.
In part twelve, I’m graduating the top plate, cutting and fluting the f-holes (sound holes) and thinning it as much as possible to bring the weight down as low as I can. This part is really challenging, but I managed to get through it without destroying anything.
